Why join?

As a member of the Labour Party, you are part of a democratic structure as the actions and decisions taken by individual members shape policy and drive the party forward towards Government.

Wimbledon Constituency Labour Party is your local centre of Labour activity. Its officers are all volunteers who work together to secure support in their community for the party, its ideals and values and its manifesto, and therefore win seats in Council, London Assembly, London Mayoral, European and General Elections.

“By the strength of our common endeavour we achieve more than we achieve alone”

— Clause IV, The Labour Party Rule Book

Every member has their own reasons for joining the party, unique skills and experiences, varying amounts of time and energy, and a special contribution to make.
